Welcome to Film Video Arts, one of New York City's most respected and longest running non-profit film schools and media arts training organization. Over the course of the past nine months, we have experienced some trying times, including two location moves, some changes in directorship, a change in our fiscal sponsorship & mentorship program, a new board of directors, and a revamped programs that more accurately reflects the mission statement for the new century.
Some of you may noticed that our website has been down for the past two weeks. Please be patient with us as we are currently in the middle of developing a new website and changing web host. We apologize for any inconvenience that we may have caused anyone who tried reach us and learn more about our workshops via our website.
Our mission at Film/Video Arts encourage interaction between established and new emerging filmmakers creating a community of Media Producers that are dedicated to Independent Production and getting the project DONE ! - working toghether and creating work -
Film/Video Arts supports independent filmmakers by providing access to filmmaking training, production services and fiscal sponsorship.
